Classes for beginners and intermediate students are held at the venues below. Guinevere's teaching was acredited through the Open College Network (now Agored Cymru) in 2004 when she wrote the first ever academic modules in Belly Dance allowing students throughout Wales to gain certification in an 'Introduction to Belly Dance' course. Guinevere also offers structured workshops to assist you to gain A-Z Belly Dance certification. She also offers AstroBelly and Belly Treasure courses and workshops. Come to classes or workshops for fun, fitness, development, stamina and inner harmony. Guinevere's style has been described as 'Classical Fusion'. She works with veils, Isis Wings, Saidi sticks, trays and fire but above all she works with the music! Classes are designed for you to learn progressively, developing technique, abilities to improvise and we also learn group dances. Your Teacher - Guinevere originally trained in the art of Belly Dancing with Jacqueline Chapman in the early 1990's. She travels regularly to further her knowledge and has 15 years of Belly Dancing experience. A background in ballet and First Class BA modules in Physical Theatre & Performance Art add a strong emphasis on performance skills and physical technique to Guinevere's teaching. She has trained extensively to enrich her skills, becoming fully acredited in 2005 in the 'Advanced A-Z Belly Dance Teacher Training' under the expert tuition of Keti Sharif and has since completed her 'Original A-Z Teacher Training' with Keti and is certified to teach the AstroBelly Dance system. Guinevere is a course assessor for Orignal A-Z Personal Technique students. With additional training from Dr Hassan Khalil, Hossam and Serena Ramzy, the Bellydance Superstars, Wendy Buonaventura, Karim Nagi, Paola Blanton, Suzanne Oehlers, Ishtar and Liza La Liza among many other teachers, Guinevere's tuition is well researched as she continues to be inspired by Belly Dance and Middle Eastern Dance forms. She loves sharing new creative ideas and choreographies with her students and offers a caring and supportive environment to learn in. Guinevere is now launching the inspiring and empowering Belly Dancer's Treasure Pack oracle set in her workshops and classes and writes regular articles on Belly Dance for magazines.

Class Times 2012

Regular classes and workshops will resume in Spring 2012 via Baubo and Arts Care with fun new choreographies, taster sessions and troupe work. Guinevere startes 2012 on maternity leave with her precious new son SOL!

Guinevere's classes are fun and accessible allowing you to learn structred belly dance sequences often based on her training in Egypt with Keti Sharif.

She recently attended the 2009 A-Z Belly Dance Teacher Training in Cairo.
