Belly Dancers Project gets funded

"A group of Pembrokeshire belly dancers has been fed an essential grant from the National Lottery. Baubo Moon Room, led by Guinevere Clark has been given money to run a project with Welsh Womens Aid. The group will run belly dance workshops throughout Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion, and will stage a fundraising show at The Small World Theatre in Cardiagn, on Saturday November 14th. All proceeds will be divided between Womens Aid and Just Because, a charity for women in Egypt with breast cancer.

'We are using the the grant to hire venues, offer free workshops, hire the theatre in Cardigan and offer refreshments during the sessions. We hope to be able to generate more money through this project to put back into the really important services for the women being supported by Womens Aid.' Said Guinevere.

The groups project is being launced on Sept 19th at Over The Rainbow Mansion, near Cardigan with a charity raffle and belly dance show."
