Baubo Belly Dancing Workshops

Weekend Workshops are for anyone interested in Belly Dancing. Participants can be total beginners or experienced dancers. The joy of coming to a residential workshop is that you can dedicate a whole weekend to the art. We learn, share and craft our skill, dancing as individuals, in pairs and in groups. A choreographed dance will also be practiced. Astro-Belly courses utilise classical belly dance moves and focus on your own personal horoscope through dance and astrological interpretation. Join us at Over The Rainbow - a beautiful Georgian Mansion in easy reach of the spectacular Ceredigion coastline, famous for it's Dolphins and seals. Set in 18 acres of woodland, Over The Rainbow offers peaceful wildlife walks as well as magnificent beaches. The bedrooms are adorned with art inspired by women from myths and legends and the food is vegetarian/vegan. Have fun, meet new freinds and explore the wonderful art of Belly Dance in the safety and comfort of our own private mansion!

Baubo Belly Dance is proud to offer day workshops from Guinevere and other established and passionate teachers of traditional Middle Eastern and modern Belly Dance forms. We have welcomed Jacqueline Chapman, Ishtar, Liza La Ziza, Hannah Corr and Hossam and Serena Ramzy! Fantastic oppurtunities to learn from a range of artists and enhance your dancing. A-Z Belly Dance Certification & A-Z Belly Dance Teacher Training

Become a qualified Belly Dance Teacher with the structured and sumptuous system of Keti Sharif's A-Z of Belly Dance. Are you a student wanting to go a step further with your Belly Dance career or performance or a teacher with a longing for more background knowledge and structure for your classes? A-Z builds on your choreography techniques and teaching abilities.

Guinevere is a certfied A-Z Belly Dance teacher, training in 2004, building on 8 years belly dance experience. 'A-Z changed my life, my dancing and my teaching, it's a total gift. Deep, educational and both specific and creative' A-Z offers you a life times worth of researched Egyptian and Oriental dance, aiming to inspire and empower your dance, performance and teaching.

A-Z is fun and developmental. It focuses on music, rhythm, culture and style as well as the obvious technical requirements of learning & teaching Belly Dance safely and with respect. A-Z will take you on a journey from the very basics to the very advanced. Choose a level to suit yourself, either to learn or to teach. All teacher training courses require you to have done the personal technique course first. All enquries welcome.

Latin Fusion Belly Dance & Double Veil Workshops

Expert A-Z Belly Dance Teacher and Performer and Australian Ballroom Champion Suzanne will be teaching some really exciting new choregraphies based on Original and Advanced A-Z moves and her passion for Latino styles.

All choreogrpahy steps will be broken down, you don't have to be an A-Z student to ejoy these workshops. All welcome!

Friday 23rd -  2 - 6pm -  A-Z 1-1 slots available with Suzanne. Personal tuition from A-Z assessor Suzanne. £25 for 90mins includes filming for assessments.

Saturday 24th - 10.30 - 1pm Latin Fusion - Steps and techniques

                          2.30 - 5pm - Latin Fusion - Choreography

Sunday 25th -   10.30 - 1pm Double Veil choreography

                         2-3.30pm - A-Z Personal Technique Workshop - Guidance, Goals and Development

                         3.45 - 5.15pm - A-Z Teacher Training Workshops - Guidance, Goals and Development

Suzannes weekend offers a unique chance to new and existing A-Z students.

Cost - £170 (includes p&p) for each training pack (includes workbook, music, DVD, glossaries and much more). Section asessment fees payable at time of assessment.(£15 each and there are 5 assessements - first is free) Each training pack - aims towards certification and will involve assessment.

2010 A-Z Workshops at 'Over The Rainbow' as listed above are optional but a useful tool to assist and complement your home study. Workshops also welcome those who want to taste A-Z but not necessarily get certificated, no problem!
