Baubo Belly Dancing Workshops

Day and weekend workshops are for anyone interested in Belly Dancing. Participants can be total beginners or experienced dancers. The joy of coming to a residential is that you can dedicate a whole weekend to the art. We learn, share and craft our skill, dancing as individuals, in pairs and in groups. A choreographed dance will also be practiced. Have fun and make new friends on the popular weekend courses.

This Autumn enjoy the Belly Treasure Weekend where we will explore The Belly Dancer's Treasure Pack and get creative with our dance exploring the four elements; fire, earth, air and water. I will also be visiting Aberystwyth Arts centre again to deliver a lovely relaxing A-Z Belly Dance Fusion Choreography workshop in October and collaborating on percussion and dance workshops with the Rhythm Lady workshop series in Newport, Pembrokeshire.

Focused Teacher Training in A-Z Belly Dance is happening in September in Croatia this year where I will be teaching Belly Treasure and A-Z Belly Dance choreographies alongside Keti Sharif and Paola Blanton.

The next AstroBelly, A-Z training and Belly Treasure weekends will be in Wales at Over The Rainbow  in Spring - Summer - Autumn 2012.

Location: Glastonbury Town Hall

March 4th - Belly Treasure Workshop - Dance your Jewels. Glastonbury Town Hall. Majma Dance Festival. 10 - 11.30. Explore your dance art and find new ways of self- expression and creativity in this empowering workshop. We will be devising fresh sequences, solo and in groups as we work from the new and inspiring card deck - The Belly Dancer's Treasure Pack. Using chance and improvisation plus what you bring with your existing skills and styles the workshop aims to both celebrate and infuse your dance with extra possibilities in expression and awareness.
